What is stored on your device

Everything you make is written only to the app's private storage, and goes away when you delete the app:

• The current design: text, fonts, colours, layers and background
• Designs saved to "My Gallery"
• Styles created in the Style Studio
• Fonts you import yourself
• Images picked as a background or sticker
• Your language and theme colour

Usage analytics

Anonymous usage statistics are sent to Google Analytics for Firebase:

• The name of a font, effect, template or tool you select
• That you exported, at which aspect ratio, and how many layers the design had
• An install identifier generated by Google, which changes if you delete and reinstall
• General device information: model, iOS version, country, language and app version

Ads

FontSaz has exactly one kind of ad, and it is entirely optional: when you export you are offered a short rewarded ad in exchange for saving that export at 4× resolution instead of 3×. Decline and the image still saves at the usual quality — no feature is withheld.

• Ads are served by Google AdMob.
• If you allow tracking in the system prompt, AdMob may use the advertising identifier (IDFA) to personalise them.
• If you decline, ads still show — simply non-personalised. Nothing is restricted either way.
• Your text, images and designs are never given to the ad system.

What is never sent

• The text you write — never
• Your images, stickers and backgrounds — never
• The exported picture itself — never
• No sign-up, email address or phone number
• No tracking across other apps or websites
• No access to location, contacts or the microphone

Turning analytics off

In the app go to Settings → Usage analytics and turn the switch off. From that moment nothing is sent, including automatic events, and the choice persists across relaunches.

Fonts

When you pick a font not already on your device, the app fetches it from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com). Google can see your IP address and device type and which font was requested. Your text is not part of that request. Fonts are then cached and work offline.

Photos

• Picking a background or sticker uses the system photo picker — the app never gets access to your library, only the single image you choose.
• "Save to device gallery" requests add-only permission; the app cannot read or delete your photos.

Deleting your data

• Settings → Reset Settings erases every saved design, style, imported font and preference.
• Deleting the app removes all of its data.
• Your designs and text have no copy anywhere else, because they were never sent.
• To have collected usage statistics erased, message @xswap_to on Telegram.

Children

FontSaz is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from any user, including children under 13.
